Activity 3- Rock Cycle Game Discuss with your group… What could happen to the rock(s) in each picture that would change it into another type of rock?

Rock Cycle Game You are going to be a rock traveling through the rock cycle. You will be traveling to five stations: Magma station Sediment station Igneous rock station Metamorphic rock station Sedimentary rock station There are dice at each station (leave the dice at that station) Keep track of each station they visit in the log.

What did we learn? On a whiteboard in your group draw the path your rock took. Use pictures and only a small amount of words. In your notebook, write a summary of what you learned from this activity. Watch the video: 3 Types of Rocks (11 min)
