Internet Predators How are internet predators similar to street predators? They look for kids who are lonely and alone. They attempt to fool kids into believing they can be trusted. They lie. Ultimately, they want to hurt kids. What are some ways online predators are different from street predators? Online predators cannot be seen.

Internet Predators - Situation Lizzie is 13 and a good student who is outgoing and loves dance. She has over 500 friends on Snapchat, including friends she doesn't even know. This year, things have gotten more difficult at school, her friend group has changed and she has been fighting with her parents. Sometimes, she vents about these things on Instagram or Snapchat. "Evan" who lives a few towns over and attends a nearby school starts chatting with her. He says he is 14 years old and that he saw her dance at a recent competition.
