BEFORE the exam Students should be aware what term and week exams are in – all years are given an assessment booklet at the start of the year Leading up to exams, you will be given an exam timetable – if you are away make sure you see your Year Advisor!

BEFORE the exam Study – what do you need to know? Missed work – what if you have been away? Revision lessons – these might happen at school BUT you should study at home Equipment – what will you need to do your best in the exam?

For a gold star… Who is your Year Advisor?

DURING the exam Enter the building in a quiet and orderly manner Line up outside the room and have all equipment needed out of your bag Enter the room and put your bag at the front of the room then take your seat

DURING the exam Listen to instructions and read the instructions on the paper Try your hardest Attempt all questions If you have a question raise your hand Check your exam once you have finished

AFTER the exam Leave the building by the closest stairway and exit Leave in a quiet and orderly manner Allow the next group entering to line up

Quiz time… What does entering/exiting a building in a “quiet and orderly manner” look like? What equipment would you likely need for a Maths exam?
