Geography of Earth Chapter 1 Sections 1 and 2

The study of Earth. Geography 2 Types of Geography 1. Physical Geography is a study of Earth’s physical characteristics like land, water, and plants. 2. Human Geography is a study of people, where they live, how they live, and how they change. It focuses on religion, culture, language, and population.

Tools geographers use to study the Earth. Maps are used to study the Earth and its parts. 2. GPS (Global Positioning System) is a group of satellites that pinpoints exact locations. 3. Geographic Information Systems show different information about the same place. They help Geographers make maps.
