“Tapping the Trust Fund” In an economy based on digitized information we have to trust Co or person we’re dealing with Trust is becoming most important asset in digital economy (brand and reputation) for customers, employees, investors Examples of security and privacy (e.g., signatures in digital form, financial information), financial statements (e.g., assets in digital form), media (e.g., altering digital images) Experience shows that this asset is built slowly and painfully but can be lost in an eyeblink (Integrity is an individual core competence as well…) Q: What is meant by ‘trust’?
