What is a Dual Language Learner? “Children who acquire two or more languages simultaneously, and learn a second language while continuing to develop their first (home) language.” (Head Start) Similar terms Bilingual English language learners (ELL) English learners Limited English Proficient (LEP)

Why should we support DLL?
