Prepositions of place are used to refer to some place or a specific place where something is placed or located. Basic Prepositions of Place: in, on, at These are used to describe where something is inside (enclosed space) or something is surrounded. Basic Preposition Examples: The horse is in the garden. (The horse is in the garden.)  The cat is in the box. (The cat is in the box.)  Her keys are in the bag. (Her keys are in the bag.)  There is no one in the room. ( No one is in the room.)  There is a turtle in the water. ( There is a turtle in the water) It is also used to express the geographical location (cities, countries, continents.)  Example:  I used to live in Poland. (I once lived in Poland.)  She works in London. (Works in London.)  Used in small vehicles ( in the car, in the taxi) Example: She’s in a taxi. (She’s in a taxi.)
