3 positions (St Mary, St John, St Mike) MCES PTO BOARD MEMBER ORGANIZATIONAL MODEL Treasurer (1 Year Renewable Term) Responsible for all financial aspects of the PTO, meets with school and parish finance officer, works with chairs for reimbursement regarding events, completes end of the year financial reports. All PTO Board Member Responsibilities Must be present at all monthly PTO meetings and monthly officer meetings. Help plan annual event calendar and plan budget for the school year. PRESIDENT (1 Year Renewable Term) Oversees all event activities, chairs meetings, meets with school administration, engages with all parishes and parents to enhance the reputation and support of MCES. Secures event chairs & reserves locations for campus events. Works hand-in-hand with campus leaders. Campus Leaders 3 positions (St Mary, St John, St Mike) (1 Year Renewable Term) Serves as the “go-to” person for parent questions regarding PTO events in relationship to their campus. Responsible for stocking your campus PTO closet, and obtaining supplies for events held at your campus. Meet with chairpersons to review event budget and approve planning Secretary (1 Year Renewable Term) Prepares meeting agendas, minutes, communications and maintains the MCES Parent/PTO Facebook page to promote events. Keeps line of communication open between all board members Vice President (1 Year Renewable Term) Supports the President in all activities, fills in as needed and recruits new members to the PTO and PTO Elected Positions.
