Day One: Warm-Up Question: Write three things that you already know about playing the ukulele. Today’s Goals: Learn the proper way to hold a ukulele Name the parts of the ukulele Name the strings of the ukulele Play simple tunes on open strings only

Day Two: Warm-Up Question: Name three things that you learned on Day One about the ukulele. Write a star (*) next to the facts that you didn’t know before Today’s Goals: Improvise on open strings to the 12-Bar Blues Play simple songs on open strings only Write a song using open strings only

Day Three: Warm-Up Questions: Today’s Goals What are the four strings of the ukulele. (from the top to the bottom) What is improvisation. Today’s Goals Today we will learn how to read chord diagrams We will learn to play the chords C7, C, Fsus2, & Am 1A – listen to Row 2 play “Ring Around the Rosie”
