Presentation transcript:

Use this presentation to launch your fundraising for this year’s Big BBC Children in Need Spotacular with children aged 3 to 7. Why not deliver it as part of circle time, or as an assembly if you’re in a school? Whatever approach you take, make it interactive and inspiring. Get the children fired up about the fun and fundraising to come! The Launch!

Who Is This? What words describe him? Encourage the children to suggest words (e.g. Pudsey, bear, yellow, waving), until someone says spotty.

We Are Going Spotty Too! We are going to have a Spotacular time raising money for BBC Children In Need.

Let’s Find Out More! Video clip (Click image to play video) ((link to Big Spotacular introduction video on YouTube, with play button)) http://bit.ly/2ccphGd

We could take part in a sponsored challenge? What Shall We Do? Use the next three slides to share your plans for fundraising activities, e.g. a sponsored spot activity, dressing up in spots, a spotty cake sale. If you’re not planning to do a particular type of activity, just delete the slide. Can the children think of other ideas? Get them engaged and excited. Help the children to understand how they can raise money by collecting sponsorship. We could take part in a sponsored challenge?

We could dress up in spots! What Shall We Do? We could dress up in spots!

We could make spotty things to sell. What Shall We Do? We could make spotty things to sell.

Why Are We Raising Money? Video clip (Click image to play video) ((link to “why get involved” video on YouTube, with play button)) After watching the video, talk with the children about how they feel about being able to help other children across the UK. http://bit.ly/2cL4Elf

Together We Can Change Lives! Let’s make it a BBC Children in Need to remember!
