Interactive Notebook Glue/Tape Crest to outside front cover Glue/tape rubric in top left corner inside front cover. Using a PEN, # pages; ODD #’s on Right side of paper, EVEN #’s on Left side of paper. Number book to page 75. STOP! Title pages 1-4 Table of Contents On page 5 glue “syllabus”. Make sure to put title/page # on Table of Contents too. On page 6 take notes over this ppt. Title “Rules & Procedures”. (take notes of slides with “**”. Don’t forget title/page # on T of C.

Where am I supposed to sit? What am I supposed to do? Assigned seats! I take roll by the seats, if your seat is empty you may be marked absent.

Who is this teacher as a person?

Grades printed off EVERY Monday Interactive Notebook Table of Contents & ??’s Grades printed off EVERY Monday Cornell Note Format

DUE date doesn’t mean DO date. How will I be graded? Daily Work 40% Test/Major 60% Late Work accepted, however points will be deducted. Day for day…it’s you’re responsibility!! Listen for WHEN assignments are due! They’re either due at the end of the class period or when you walk in the next period (not 15 minutes past class start time). DUE date doesn’t mean DO date.

Pink Slip automatic zero If you don’t have your assignment (for whatever reason) you must complete a pink slip. If you forget to fill out a pink slip you will receive an automatic zero. *remember late work is accepted. However, 10 points deducted PER day late.

**What are the classroom RULES?? No food or drink. All food and drink should be disposed of BEFORE entering the classroom. No IPOD/MP3 includes cell phones Use appropriate language Bring supplies (interactive notebook)!!

**What are the school rules? No CELL phones unless used for instructional practices. I will let you know when/if we will use cell phones. . Please make sure they’re silent and out of sight. ID (must be ON & VISIBLE & YOURS) Follow Dress Code (check the mirror) no piercings other than ears I write referrals for dress code violations!!

Do I look stupid? Don’t answer 

**What if you’re absent…. It is your responsibility to check the calendar/chart to see what you missed. You will be given the appropriate days to complete the missed work. I will NOT remind you of your missed work.

I will not accept you late into class without a tardy pass!!!! **When are you TARDY?? If the bell has rung and you’re NOT in the room, then you are TARDY. If the bell has rung and the door is SHUTTING closed, then you are TARDY. I will not accept you late into class without a tardy pass!!!!

**Restroom Breaks Please take care of your restroom needs in between classes. I give 1 restroom pass per 9 weeks. If you do not use your one restroom pass you may turn it in to drop your lowest daily grade. There is plenty of time to get to my room and stop by the restroom prior to class. No transferring restroom passes nor no replacement passes will be given if you lost your original pass. If you take MY time, I’ll take YOUR time.

Class Supplies You may use markers, colored pencils, glue & scissors as needed. Please return in appropriate bins. If I pick up after you they will not be available! Personal Supplies: 1 spiral & 2 glue sticks. You may earn bonus points per 2 unused glued sticks. Glue sticks will be left in class, the spiral you keep but bring to class every day.

Turn in completed work to be graded into appropriate bin: Period 2: Red Period 3: Orange Period 4: Yellow Period 6: Green Period 7: Blue PINK SLIP: Pink

Don’t touch unless asked! If you get a text book please put them on the shelf at the end of class

Classroom Dismissal The teacher dismisses you, not the bell Do not start packing up prior to the bell Wait until the teacher finishes and officially dismisses you with: “See Ya Tomorrow”
