Miss Lusker’s Class News A Note From Miss Lusker: What’s Happening This Week: Sep. 18th Chick-Fil-A spirit night is this Monday! I will be there around 4:00! I’ll be looking forward to seeing anyone that stops by around then! Let’s help earn money for our school! Please continue to check your child’s agenda for homework assignments and upcoming test days. Here are the following scheduled test days: -Tuesday, September 19th: 3rd and 4th Science Common Assessment (large unit test, this date was changed from its original date) Huge THANK YOU to the parents/guardians that sent in money donations for the treasure box! I’m beyond thankful for those contributions! Students who did not pass their fact drill from Friday will have their fact drill stapled to their agenda. Please sign and return it before Friday! Test folders will be going home again on Thursday due to all of the testing last week. Please look over the documents inside with your child, and then sign and return it by Monday, Sep. 25th. Shout out to Richard Davis and Abigail Ostrander for being our “Leaders of the Week” last week. They demonstrated hard work last week! A Peek At What We Are Learning Morning Meeting: This week, students will practice building teamwork and improving their communication skills. 3rd Math: Our main focus this week will be on writing multiplication and division equations. 3rd Science: Vocabulary and “hot topics” this week: magnetism! We will be exploring magnetism through hands on experiments. 4th Math: Our main focus this week will be on adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers… finding the sum (+) and difference (-). Students will add and subtract through given word problems. 4th Science: Vocabulary and “hot topics” this week: abiotic and biotic factors in the environment.
