POWER OF WORDS THE POWER OF WORDS Words are used to communicate. - Words can trigger emotional responses in the person who hears or reads them. Words can : - bring hurts or healing - bring harm or help - make bad or good news - be spoken in love or in hate! - bring joy and security or tears and fear! Words shape up our thoughts. Our problem: 1.Many of us simply speak… Many words, empty words, negative words, thoughtless words, angry words. Often we are sorry, but more often we are totally unaware and ignorant of the implications, especially if they were words that inflicted hurt, criticism or judgement. 2. Negative words that we speak into our lives. “ I am so sick..I am so angry… I have a headache…I am getting the flu…No money! 3. We entertain what others speak about us. THE POWER OF WORDS
John 10:10: The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. THE POWER OF WORDS
REASON: Because we continuously confess the things we need but do not have “WRONGLY!” with negative words and attitudes instead of positively claiming them by faith according to God’s WORD! We receive by FAITH & according TO our FAITH! II Corinthians 10:5 says, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing captive every thought to the obedience of Christ.” THE POWER OF WORDS
If the thought in your mind is not supporting your faith, ‘you don’t speak it!’ What we must continually remind ourselves about faith is: 1. BELIEVING and then SEE! 2. As we believe what we see through our faith, we speak only those things that promote, support and encourage the forward progress of the blessing of the manifestation to us. 3. We must speak faith to our circumstances at all times. THE POWER OF WORDS

WORDS have POWER when: 1. They are spoken ( Jesus spoke to the fig tree, storm) 2. We believe the WORD (Abraham-90 yrs old - believed and received Isaac.) 3. When the WORD is acted upon. (disciples on the boat fishing) THE POWER OF WORDS
