~*~*~*~*~*~*~Links & Resources ~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Aloha, I hope you are excited to be using the backward design approach to designing a culminating performance activity. Isn't it fun to think of the end result first. You could also think of backward design as keeping your eye on prize, or working toward a reward/ knowledge (although your students may or may not be as excited as you are). In any case it is all about identifying where you want your students to be at the conclusion of your lesson. This week we talked about the culminating performance activity. In the coming weeks we will work backward to put in place the other components necessary to flush out a solid technology integrated learning unit. Next Steps: Next week will be learning how to use backward design to develop Guided Learning Activities. If you have any questions please let me know.
