Monday freshmen Write down the following words and their definitions. Exploit- use a situation or person in an unfair or selfish way Glaring-extremely obvious or conspicuous Immobile- not able to be moved Intuition- the ability to understand something immediately, a 'gut feeling‘ Notion- a conception of or belief about something

Monday sophomores Write down the following words and their definitions. Buffer- to reduce shock or harm Compounding- adding to Prolonged- extended; made something last longer Strait- narrow waterway that joins two bodies of water Tromping- walking with a heavy step

Journal- Write five full sentences. Block 1 freshmen Journal- Write five full sentences. If you had to make a playlist for your week, what would it look like? Why? Include one of the vocabulary words from Monday.
