The President After losing two races for the Senate, Abraham Lincoln wins the Presidency in 1860 He won 180 out of 183 electoral votes from the FREE STATES - He wasn’t even on most of the ballots in the South!

ASSASSINATION Lincoln was elated as the Civil War came to an end, but not everyone was happy Southern sympathizer and successful actor, John Wilkes Booth was determined to take action against the President
