To create a wiki on GoogleSites, connect to Google, click on the more menu, and select Sites.

Before you can create a wiki on GoogleSites, you have to sign up for an account – click on Sign up for Sites. Then follow the prompts to create your Google account.

If you already have a Google account, just sign in, then click on Create new site.

This is the top of the “Create new site” form – first you select a template. Note that you can browse a “gallery” of templates.

This is the bottom of the “Create new site” form – here you name your site (which will automatically fill in the rest of the url), choose a theme, and review other options as desired before typing in a system-provided code and clicking on Create site.

That’s it! The wiki is created. To start adding pages to your wiki, click on the Create page button.

This is the “Create Page” template This is the “Create Page” template. Here you will select a template for the page, name it, and indicate at what level in the wiki you want it to be placed, then click on Create Page.

You can “Insert” content such as images, links, etc.

You can “Format” text.

You can select a “Layout.”

Back at your wiki home page, note the More actions button.

In particular, “More actions” allows you to manage and share your wiki.

As the name implies, “Manage Site” allows you to globally modify the content, settings, and appearance of your wiki.

The “Share this Site” operations allow you to modify who can access your wiki, as well as what type of access they can have.
