Grammar Students are using a mentor sentence to analyze, imitate, and apply in their own writing. Mathematics This week in GOMATH, we will focus on the following: Lesson 4.6-Model Multiplication of Decimals Lesson 4.7-Place the Decimal Point in Decimal Multiplication Lesson 4.8-Multiply Decimals with Zeros in the Product Thursday-Converting Customary Measurement TEST Friday- Chapter 4 Assessment Science-Students will work in groups to explore the science involved in the making of items used in colonial life. Social Studies We will complete our study of Jamestown by finishing the novel, Blood on the River. Students will participate in an archaeological simulation on Friday of the remains at Jamestown. Costume guidelines for Dec. 14th have been sent home! Reading / Writing This week we will finish our class novel study and work on independent reading to complete the reading challenge. Reading challenge forms are due by Monday, Dec. 10th.
