Early Alerts and Symplicity Overview Hello everyone! Today we are going to provide you with a quick overview of the Symplicity system highlighting the features of each module with special attention on the Early Alert System. Symplicity provides workflow solutions for entering and tracking Early Alerts, managing accommodation requests, and managing many other functions to enhance the student experience. Symplicity modules include Advocate, Insight, Accommodate, Community, and CSM.

myFSCJ Faculty Access Faculty can access the Symplicity modules from the faculty tab within myFSCJ. You can go directly to the Early Alert Report from this screen, but if you do, you have to know your student’s Student ID. Its easier use the Insight Log In link instead, because you are able to go directly to your class and select the student that you want to submit the Early Alert for. We also have other types of reports that you can submit using the Report It link. These include Students of Concern reports, Title IX reports, Student Conduct reports, etc. We’ll talk more about those other reports a little later.

FSCJ faculty, staff, and students play a part in promoting the safety and well-being of our community. This document provides a single collecting point for links to the report or request as described in the following boxes. Please click on the link under the report or request you would like to submit. This form will be located in myFSCJ under quicklinks for quick access to centralized reporting and available to all FSCJ staff, faculty and students. Each report type has been built with customized skip logic and form dependencies to create a intuitive reporting mechanism for our community.
