There lived a shepherd in a village. He had many sheep There lived a shepherd in a village. He had many sheep. He took them out every morning for grazing. The village was beside a forest.

One day, while his sheep were grazing in the field, he planned a trick to befool the villagers .

He shouted loudly, “ Wolf, wolf, help, help He shouted loudly, “ Wolf, wolf, help, help!” The villagers came and found no wolf there. He did it about three times. As a result, the villagers became angry and told him not to do it again.

But one day a true wolf came. It began to eat the sheep one after one. The boy had become scared. He didn’t know what to do as he was confused.

He began to shout “ Wolf. wolf. help. help He began to shout “ Wolf! wolf ! help! help! This time its real, please help!” The villagers thought him to be making fun again and didn’t response him. The wolf ate not only sheep but also the boy.

Questions :- How did the cowboy flatter the villagers? Why didn’t the villagers come to rescue the cowboy? What happened to the cowboy at last?
