ErbB receptors (black text) and their ligands (grey text) involved in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) pathway are differentially expressed along the various regions of the nephron in human adult kidneys, including the glomerulus, proximal distal tubule, loop of Henle, distal convoluted tubule and the collecting duct. *HB-EGF expression in rat kidneys.
