Homework and Newsletter August 27th- Aug 31st A note from the teachers… We hope everyone had a great long weekend! We are excited to be continuing our learning with the Engineering Design Process and discussing the importance of teamwork. Students will be working with a team of their peers to plan, design, create, and improve a maze for a ping pong balls. Collaboration is one of the most important yet most difficult skills to master so please ask your kiddos about their projects and their experience working with a team. Our phonics focus for the week is short o but we are continuing to work with all of the short vowel sounds. In math, we are identifying different ways to make numbers within 10 to improve our addition fluency and our number sense. As always, feel free to contact us with questions or comments through email or our class dojo. Have a great week!
