“Recruits” A recruit is any player that has the ambition to play football at a level past the high school level Division 1 FBS Division 1 FCS Division II Division III NAIA Junior College Prep Schools

Division 1 FBS (110+ School) Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State, Texas, Clemson, Troy All State Player Top 50 Player in the state Excellent speed, strength, and size Has visited campuses and has been recognized at camps and combines Head Coaches from colleges have made contact Player Position Height Weight 40 yrd dash Bench Press Squat John Smith OL 6’5 295 5.0 320 500 RB 5’10 185 4.5 260 450 LB 6’2 215 4.6 275 DB 5’11 180 4.4 250 400

Division 1 FCS (175+ Schools) Jacksonville State, Furman, Alabama State All State Players Great Size, Speed, and Strength Attended camps on college campuses Been contacted by head coaches These players may be the next Tier of player on the boards of FBS schools.

Division II (170+ School) Valdosta State, West Alabama, Miles, Tuskegee All Region players Very good size, strength, and speed Players with limited Division 1 offers These players are Very good High school football players, size or athleticism may have prevented multiple D1 Offers. DII Offer “Full rides”, but most of the time players will receive “Partial” scholarships.

Division III (230+ Schools) Belhaven, Huntington, Lagrange, Birmingham Southern Very Good High School Players Undersized or Below D1/DII talent levels Great Academics for financial support Willing to travel anywhere for school Limited Athletic money given to athletes Pail Grant plays more of a role Out of state colleges will be reluctant to offer

NAIA (70+ School) Good high School players Great Academics Financially able to pay for private school tuition Partial athletic Scholarship (20%) Academic Scholarships can make school affordable

Goals Of the Student Athlete Pass Every Class Avoid Credit Recovery Attempt ACT 3-4 Times Take SAT if needed Register for NCAA Clearinghouse Take Public Speaking, Sociology, Psychology Avoid Teachers aide and office aide classes

8th Grade plan Advanced students - Take Algebra 1 in 8th Grade Plan to take Act 2nd Semester of 9th grade year when taking Geometry. Non Advanced – Algebra 1 9th grade Plan to take ACT 2nd semester of 10th grade year Attend NUC Combine

9th Grade Plan Make sure HUDL account is up to date and active Attend NUC Camp and NIKE SPARQ Camp If in Geometry take Act 2nd Semester If Strong in Math but struggle on ACT register to take SAT – Can take both in same month Determine academic pathway – Can you graduate High School Early? Make sure GPA is high as possible

10th Grade Plan Update HUDL Account before season begins Attend Nike, Rivals, Scout Camps Visit and attend camps at in-state Division 1 Colleges Should have taken ACT 1-2 Times, Register for next attempt Is graduating high school early still an option?

11th Grade Plan Update HUDL account before season begins Attend Rivals and Scout Camps. Attend 10 or more college camps if possible Register for Under Armor Regionals Attend Army All – American Jr. Combine Should have taken ACT 2-3 Times

12th Grade Plan Update HUDL account before season begins College Camps only Looks for Higher end and Invite camps only Elite 11 Regionals Take ACT/SAT if needed for academic scholarships FASFA completed

NCAA Clearing House This Program is free to students with free and reduced lunches. Must register to be able to be on athletic scholarships and official visists This will inform the athlete of what needs to be done and what is unnecessary Needs to be done no later than his junior year
