PAYROLL TAXES For ministers, SECA (Self Employment Contribution Act) taxes apply to BOTH Housing & Living Allowance. 15.39%

PAYROLL TAXES Special Note: Ministerial services pay is subject to self-employment tax unless: The minister is a member of a religious order, whose members have taken a vow of poverty. The minister has requested and the IRS has approved an exemption from self-employment tax.
