Grammar Focus 一般过去时态常见的基本用法 1.表示在过去时间里发生的动作或存在的状态 2.表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。 3.表示已故人所做的事情。 一般过去时常和表示过去的是状语连用。

构成形式: 肯定式: I cried. 否定式: I did not (didn’t) cry. 疑问式: Did you cry? Yes, I did. No, I didn’t.

1. 动词be的变化: am is are were was 2.助动词do的变化: do→ did (在过去时里助动词do没有 人称和数的变化) 如:Did you play soccer yesterday? Did he play soccer yesterday?

3. 实义动词的变化: 实义动词分规则变化和不规则变化。 规则变化有以下几种: (1) 一般情况下在动词后加-ed。 e.g.play—played visit—visited   walk—walked clean—cleaned

(2) 以不发音的e结尾的词,在词尾 加-d。 e.g. note—noted like—liked   dance—danced   name—named

(3)以一个元音加一个辅音字母结尾的 重读闭音节结尾的单词,要先双写 这个辅音字母,再加-ed。 e.g. stop—stopped   drop—dropped   plan—planned

(4)以辅音字母加y结尾的单词,先改y 为i,再加-ed。 e.g. study—studied   carry—carried 不规则变化需要按一定的规律逐个记忆。

规则动词-ed的读音 清念 /t/ , 元浊/d/ ; /t/ /d/ 之后念/id/ 说明: 1.清念/t/,即ed在清辅音后面念/t/。 例:finished helped passed cooked 2.元浊/d/, 即ed在元音, 浊辅音后面念/d/ 。 例:borrowed enjoyed called moved 3./t/ /d/之后念 /id/, 即ed在/t/ /d/音后面念 /id/ 例:wanted shouted needed counted

在本单元中出现的不规则动词有以下几个: do — did     go — went   read — read    see — saw get — got    sit — sat      have/has — had   am/is — was buy—bought say--said

一般过去时态常用的时间状语 一般来说,一般过去时都有明显的时间状语,它们可以是单词,也可以是短语或从句。 1.yesterday或以其构成的短语:yesterday morning(afternoon, evening)等; 2. 由“last+一时间名词”构成的短语:last night, last year (winter, month, week)等; 3. 由“时间段+ago”构成的短语:a moment ago, a short time ago, an hour ago等; 4. 其它:just now等 5. 由某些表示过去时态的从句等。
