School Consortium Challenge: Health Advocate client since 2014 50 schools, 10,000 employees Challenge: The Consortium faced rising health costs, unhealthy employees, and low morale and productivity. With 22 school districts, the Consortium found previous wellness efforts difficult due to communication and coordination challenges.

School Consortium Solution: Health Advocate client since 2014 50 schools, 10,000 employees Solution: Our Wellness Program Consultant established communication with the wellness contact for each school district. Together, they put the right resources in place and created an engagement strategy including a communication and incentive plan. Resources included: Wellness coaching Company-sponsored challenges Incentivized health trackers Biometric screenings at all 22 districts Health Advocacy with data-based gaps-in- care coaching Personal health messaging with proactive gaps-in-care outreach

School Consortium Health Advocate client since 2014 50 schools, 10,000 employees Results: Higher compliance with preventive screenings Higher compliance with recommended care for chronic illnesses Fewer inpatient stays and ER visits Better medication adherence for drugs related to chronic conditions Medical cost trend increased at a slower rate, saving $4.8M in medical costs over the previous year for the same population ROI of 8.9:1 (nearly nine times the cost of Health Advocate’s programs)
