Lappeenranta Academic Library The joint research library of Saimaa UAS and LUT was opened in August The Academic Library has operations on two campuses, Skinnarila and Linnala in Imatra. The library serves the fields of technology, economics and business administration, social services, health care sciences, tourism and culture, with approximately 150,000 titles. The electronic collection includes 180 databases, eBooks, magazines and reference books. The newspaper room subscribes to approximately 900 journals. The number of employees is 21, and the library is visited by 1,000 visitors per day. The Lappeenranta Academic Library is also open to the general public.
