Diffusion Multiple Sclerosis: 0,4 per 10.000 abitants 60 million people affected in the world Since 2009, in the U.S., 1 in 110 children(Centre for Disease Control) In Italy we are talking about 10-13 cases per 10,000 people Diffusion Multiple Sclerosis: 0,4 per 10.000 abitants 2012: € 32.881.290 (*AISM) Leukemia: 0,01 per 10.000 children 2012: € 24.802.268 (*AIL) This disability, within a spectrum of severity levels and trends of evolution, persists throughout life and requires complex interventions with a cost to the Regional Health System which has significant impact on the subject himself, his family (especially the mother) and on the community. Long and complex route for the diagnosis Censis 2012: 80% of cases are identified by their mothers (particularly in the second year of life ,41%) 45% of households have waited between 1 and 3 years for the diagnosis, 13% over 3 years On average 3 specialists should be consulted to obtain a definitive diagnosis About 30% following a pharmacological therapy (there are no specific medicines) Among adolescents and adults, 30% do not make any type of therapy (psychological, educational, social) Autism Scenario Data The project Solutions Support us

AREA: Home Lab Mini apartments equipped with advanced technology solutions that will accommodate children and their parents for a short period (2-3 weeks) during which young patients will be clinically characterized and sent to a rehabilitation program while their parents will be trained in the new role of co-therapists that they will perform at home.
