What is it? Cloud based video conference bridge Multi-device capable HD & Full HD Is it like Skype?

BlueJeans Features… 100 participant limit (no requirement on how you reach 100) Unlimited meetings Unlimited recording (audio/video and content) Hosted by BlueJeans, no local infrastructure required Browser plugin (Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer) Desktop App (Mac & PC) Mobile device (Android Google Play Store & iOS App Store)

Supports traditional, H323 video conference calls (Polycom, Cisco, LifeSize etc.) Static or dynamic content (PowerPoint or .mp4 videos) Web chat for mobile app, desktop app and web browser Moderator controls forcible muting, participant removal, video muting Free to use for you as a potential host and for your participants, no “account” needed to join meeting.

Licensing ACNS license is open to campus faculty/staff community -contact me for scheduling, use, questions etc. Not campus wide site licensed, not available via eID login etc. There is potential for your department or college to purchase their own license Currently ACNS, College of Vet Med. President’s Office, HR, COB.

What can, would I use BlueJeans for? Anything that involves online collaboration and/or discussion really Not technically webinar, but can be used as such. Most popular use so far has been interviews.. Also used for Masters/PhD defense Research collaboration Public/Private partnership development General conference calls

How to access it? Request form on library website (Under services>computers & technology>video conferencing) http://lib.colostate.edu/services/computers/video-conferencing Prefer 1 week lead time (especially if you would like me to host in Rm. 172) If you do not need conference room, just BlueJeans, a few days notice should be sufficient. All scheduling goes through me, what do I need? Date/time & e-mail addresses for all individual connections/participants
