Classroom News 100 step celebration September 20, 2017 writing reading The school year has gotten off to a great start! All students are leveled and I will begin gathering data next week. Today, each student should be on or beyond Step 60. Please remember that your child should be reading 2 steps each night (30 minutes). On the week end, each student should read an additional step. We are quickly approaching our 100 Step Celebration. We will have guest readers who will read to our students on our very own trails. Thanks for your continued support of your child’s reading. . Next week, we will begin Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Can Auggie convince his new classmates that he's just like them, despite appearances?
