Physics II 10/7 Suppose you made a graph of “Applied Force vs. Pull Distance” for the trebuchet on the right. What would the graph look like for trebuchet positions between θ =0° and θ =180°? [Assume that the pull distance is measured along an arcing path.] What if you graphed “Energy required to pull back trebuchet vs. Pull Distance?” What would that graph look like?

Physics 10/7 Today: Friday: Complete launcher activities. Check & Review Problems. Do you need more practice problems??? If so, which kind – similar to which numbers?? Work Time Friday: Complete launcher activities. Tuesday: Accuracy Competition. Thursday: Test. In-class portion on Thursday, same content as practice questions. Allowed materials: calculator, paper, pen/pencil. Take-home Excel portion assigned Thursday, due the following Friday. If you know how to set up all of the spreadsheets we have already done – by yourself – you should be prepared. Allowed materials: anything but another living person.
