How Does The Process Work? With your permission we file a bank release on your behalf that causes the bad check to be sent to our check-processing center. Our processing center will debit the account of the bad check writer for the full face value. We can debit up to twice. The account is monitored prior to the second re-presentment for availability of funds. At the option of the school district, non-NSF checks are sent to our secondary collection agency or else returned to the school. Funds recovered electronically along with funds collected by our secondary collection agency are deposited into your school bank account every Monday.
