In-School Flu Vaccination Clinic Overview In an effort to help promote school attendance and student wellness, Vaccinating Alabama Kids in Schools, LLC (VAKS) will provide a voluntary in-school flu vaccination clinic at every HCS school Clinics will begin in late September 2018 and will end in mid October 2018 VAKS will provide information regarding the flu vaccine and consent forms for parents at each school Individual student participation is voluntary but written consent must be given by the parent or legal guardian in order for the vaccine to be administered Flu vaccination shall be provided at no cost to the student, the student’s family, or HCS. No deductible will be charged
