Copyright Nationwide Check Systems,Inc.© CAPS-Check Assurance Protection System is a Patent Pending Product of NCSI (2003) How our Product Works n NCSI developed CAPS ® in conjunction with Universal Savings Bank (FDIC), Milwaukee, WI. Utilizing the latest in technology, resources, and customer service,Universal has a well deserved reputation as one of the most innovative financial services providers in the country. NCSI has been a leader in the payment services industry for almost twenty years. n By utilizing our Centralized Returns Account, your bank never even sees a returned check-- because the FED sends the check to us for payment. n You make your deposits as usual into your own bank account. If the check bounces, we pay the check. n Other than us notifying you, you wont even notice any thing---except more money in your bank account! n We then utilize Electronic Re-presentment to collect the check. By utilizing this capability, we can collect the check and the allowable service fee from the checkwriter--the one who should pay--not from you. n Not only does your bank not see the check--they cant charge you the fees they normally charge for a Returned Item.

Copyright Nationwide Check Systems,Inc.© CAPS-Check Assurance Protection System is a Patent Pending Product of NCSI (2003) Summary Were ready to PROVE to you that: 1- You will never receive a bad check again 2- You will save money each and every month 3- Your worries about bad checks are over! Some typical Questions and Answers about our product. Q- How do I get paid for the bad check? A- You are paid for the bad check as soon as you receive it from your customer! Consider it cash! Your bank gets the deposit as usual, except that if the check bounces, the FED sends it to us and we pay it. Your bank doesnt even know that there was a bad check. Q- Why is this different from normal check guarantee? A- Because we dont charge a discount fee, or a transaction fee, or make certain rules about what we wont pay for. Q- How about Check Recovery (RCK) that I have now? A- Check Recovery is fine as far as it goes. It still wont pay you for 100% of your checks. It also wont pay you for certain types of checks (Closed Account, Business Checks), etc. And you still have to waste your time calling the customer who gave you the check. With us, once the check has been deposited--forget about it! Q- Why doesnt my bank get the check back like they normally do? A- Because we provide you with a special Endorsement Stamp directing the Federal Reserve Bank in your area to send the check to our Centralized Returns Account Bank for payment. That way--your bank cant charge you the Returned Item fee each time one of your customers bounces a check to you. Because they didnt get one! Q- What kind of fees do you charge? A- We love to answer this one! Because there is a charge from the FED for returned items, we charge as little as $2 per returned item. Thats not per check! Thats per returned item. This depends on volume. But it will always be significantly less than your bank charges you for returned item fees. In addition, there is a monthly administrative fee of $ This covers all admin costs, including allowing you to check your checks via the web. We give you a user name and password, and you can check the status of any returned checks that have been received by us. You can also print your monthly statement from this site. In addition, we will either fax or the notification to you when we receive a bad check from one of your clients. All of these services for less than 50 cents a day!

Copyright Nationwide Check Systems,Inc.© CAPS-Check Assurance Protection System is a Patent Pending Product of NCSI (2003) Questions and Answers Continued Q- How long does it take to get started? A- After we receive your agreement, it takes about two weeks. We have to make a special Endorsement Stamp, and set-up your personal Reporting Page. Often, it takes less, but this is a good average. Q- Is there any lease payment? A- Since there is no need for any equipment--there is no lease payment. Q- How do you make your profit? A- We make our profit by collecting the state fee allowed by law from the writer of the check. We do this electronically, under the rules of the Federal Reserve Bank, and the National Automated Clearing House Association. We are Regulated by both the Federal Government as well as each State. We collect this fee after we have collected the face amount of the bad check that was given to you. If we dont collect the check, then we cant collect the fee. If we cant collect the check, we cant charge it back to you. Q- Are there any tricks to your Agreement? A- There are no tricks. As in any business agreement, you will expect us to perform our obligations, and we will expect you to do the same. All we ask is that you not try to defeat the system, and conduct your business in an honest, ethical manner. We will do the same. Q- Does it cost anything to start? A- Again--we love to answer this. We charge an Activation Fee of $95.00 to set-up everything. You dont pay us now. After you receive your stamp, and we have set-up your web reporting site, we will receive payment via ACH. Your activation fee also covers your new Endorsement Stamp. Were sure you will agree that this is a small investment to never have a bad check again! Q- Where are you located? A- We have a Processing Center in Atlanta, as well as a Processing Center and Training Center in Milwaukee. Q- How do I get started? A- You may start the process by requesting an application from or calling our toll free number at CHECK (2432) Ext 300.
