Introduction General George S. Patton was born on November 11, 1885 in San Gabriel, California. Had a younger sister Nita. Attended the Virginia Military institute like his father and grandfather.

Background info His life at west point He was known for his determination and drive Achieved the highest rank in the corps of cadets Thought it was his destiny to be a famous general. Graduated in 1909

Background info furthering education Graduate the command and general staff college and the army war college While he was in the “peace time army he wanted to advance his skills as an officer and to become a student of military history.
