What did we predict about our biscuits last lesson?

Star Challenge To be able to identify and complete a star diagram. Explain which biscuit you like the most and least and explain why. To be able to identify and complete a star diagram using your own choice of descriptive words. Explain which biscuit you like the most and least and explain why. To be able to complete descriptive taste test for biscuits using your own choice of descriptive words and making suggestions as to how and why they could be improved.

Sensory Taste Tests What is it? What senses do we use? A test to help us monitor human responses to different food and drink . What senses do we use?

Why do these rules apply? Present each food sample the same. Samples must be the same size. No talking or discuss. Have a drink of water only in between each sample. Why do these rules apply?

Tasting the biscuits 3 minutes each station Rank each biscuit out of 5 for appearance, smell, texture and taste. Remember to add any comments to help you remember each biscuit. Add the total. 1= dislike a lot 5= like a lot
