PROVISIONAL RESEARCH TITLE: An investigation on the use of visualization as a didactical tool to promote the Mathematical proficiency in learners with visual impairment.
CONTEXT, BACKGROUND THEORY -The newly implemented revised curriculm empasizes that teachers establish innovative classroom practices, re-value visualization and place it as a central issue in mathematics education. -The use of visualization in Mathematics classrooms help learners understand concepts better -loss of vision does not imply loss of opportunities for learning mathematical concepts.
SUB TOPICS/ CONCEPTS -Visualization -Visual impairment -Visual literacy -Visual vs. non visual pedagogical methods -Conceptualization -Compartmentalization -Making connections
