ECONOMICS: October 9 Economics Learning Target In order to understand market structures, I will analyze the four different types of market structures. I will know I have it when I can list and explain the characteristics of each type of market structure in terms of: (1) number of producers/market share;(2) similarity of products (product differentiation); (3) control/influence over price; and (4) ease of entry into the marketplace. --complete pre-project reading guide (if did not do so last class—HO from earlier) BE READY TO TURN IT IN WHEN ASKED Market Structure industry group assignments -discuss group activity instructions (HO) -read about assigned industry -group leader come to teacher to confirm the group’s opinion of the market structure that the assigned industry operates in Assignment Read Ch. 7, Lessons 2 and 3
