Warm Up According to the latest estimates from Five-Thirty-Eight.com, the probability the Democrats will win the House of Representatives in November is 0.86 while the probability the Republicans will win the Senate is 0.81. Assume the two elections are independent of each other (they aren’t but assume this for this problem). 1) What is the probability the Democrats will win both the House and the Senate? 2) What is the probability the Republicans will win both the House and the Senate?
