Definitions Warded person – person with mental disabilities Tutor – person, who is responsible for people with mental disabilities

For people with mental disabilities: For tutors of such people:  Relevance Project’s aim: increasing social mobility and adaptation of people with mental disabilities. Main functions: For people with mental disabilities: 1. Sending messages in pictograms or text. 2. Sending quick messages 3. Call For tutors of such people: 1. Messager’s part (messages and calls) 2. Making settings for own warded person 3. Travel assistant

Base requirements Requirements of communication part Adaptive interface for people with disabilities Different input system for tutor: letters, pictograms Sending messages, quick messages between tutor and his warded person Calls between people Requirements of travel assistant part Checking location of person with disabilities Creating a route with highlighted zones Notification about  track deviations

First meeting Discussion about main functions and design of our application with staff of rehabilitation center «Nadezhda». Main ideas and new information: Using different types of pictograms Color settings for all elements in warded person interface Tracking last warded person’s action

Second meeting Discussion about main functions and design of our application with Raf, Annemie, Jan. Main ideas and new information: Grouping people with mental disabilities If tutor can’t respond to his warded person’s message – send this message to other tutors in group Creating special pictograms for warded person Personal settings of the interface

Third meeting Discussion about main functions and technologies with Steven and Jan. Main ideas and new information: Settings for group of pictograms and categories Changing standard pictograms Special block for other device function (if it’s possible) Input/output message type at warded person’s side Different languages for tutor’s interface

Legislation requirements Development and testing problems Getting local position of warded person – problem with placing at Google Play/AppStore Testing by people with mental disabilities: a) Special agreements from parents/tutor for working with such people and using our app b) Travel assistant’s testing: hard to create real conditions for using it
