The Once and Future Coming King

The King has Come! He came to rule (Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 1:23; 2:1-2; Luke 1:30-33; Micah 5:2) He came as a prophet and lawgiver (Deuteronomy 18:15; John 6:14; Acts 3:22-23; John 12:48-49) He came as a sacrifice for sins -- when Jesus came into the world, He was given a body to sacrifice! (Hebrews 10:5-9; 9:28) Christ the King came into this world once to rule, to deliver God’s law, and as a sacrifice for sins. Just as surely as He came once, He is coming again to judge, to render punishment, and to give the saved a glorious reward. Are we prepared for His second coming?

The King is Coming Again! As Judge (1 Corinthians 4:5; 2 Timothy 4:1; Matthew 25:31-32) To render punishment!
