IPHN/NNS BCC Activities for this year Identify Capacity Building issues/areas in line with IPHN/NNS OP for next year Ensure/Strengthen BCC related meeting like, HPN Coordination Meeting , SBCC- WG, Best practice & sub Groups Digital Resources specially Digital Archive and e-toolkit update and review regularly Facilitate to adopt e-learning course on regular basis for professional improvement /better performance Organize /conduct message and SBCC materials development workshops/Trainings Mainstreaming M& E Checklist for BCC activities

IPHN/NNS BCC Activities (2017-2021) BCC related Workshop Workshop on development, finalization and dissemination of BCC materials Print Media: Poster, Banner, Leaflet, Brochure, Flip chart, Books, Comic Books, Cartoon, and others Electronic Media: Broadcasting/Telecasting of BCC materials through Bangladesh betar, Bangladesh Television and other electronic media (hours) Advertisement of different types of nutrition messages through printing media (day) Community Mobilization: Dissemination of Nutrition massage by Mass Communication Department at field level Dissemination of Nutrition massage through cell phone  

Major Areas of development: There are some areas to be improved, some of the areas/issues are mentioning here……………. Effective use of different BCC tools & strategies from policy to field level. Increased Co ordination, Co-operation and Collaboration Orientation on the National Comprehensive SBCC Strategy need to have same level understanding Systematic process of setting behavioral indicators for monitoring and evaluation to be institutionalized

Major Areas of development: Vitamin – A Campaign Observed of Vit –A Campaign and Service Week in August 05, 2017 Motivational program on Vitamin – A Campaign on different aspect of BCC have been taken through Newspaper, mass media to disseminate messages on Vitamin – A . TV Scroll through private TV Channels Observed World Breastfeeding Week -2017 ( August 1-7) : Theme/slogan for WBW 2017 “Sustaining Breastfeeding TOGETHER".

eToolkit for field workers The BCC materials include flip charts, posters, leaflets, flyers, brochures, fact sheets, newsletters, TV spots, radio spots, newspaper ads, inter-personnel communication (IPC) talking points, or any other SBCC materials your organizations have developed//produced to support the nutrition activities.
