Presentation transcript:

I have been asked to create a new creative application for the iPhone which has functionality and interactivity. The application had to show familiarity and usability. I have made my application recognizable by placing the burger as the icon because burgers are associated with takeaway food therefore will draw the persons attention to the application. The application is interactive because the person touches the screen to make things happen, The application is designed to order takeaways from restaurants for you. This why it is shaped like a burger on the main screen. We will now move onto the next slide by clicking on the burger icon. Food

However during the evaluation it was found that this was too complicated and I decided to change it accordingly by putting timescales in for you to choose when the food will be delivered instead. When other is clicked upon then you will be diverted to a screen with a qwerty keyboard on to allow you to type text in the address. Click corner of phone to make address appear in the phone

SELECT DELIVERY TIME 20 to 40 minutes 40 to 60 minutes The previous prototype used GPS to find your current location and calculate how long it would take you to arrive home to receive your delivery at your door. During the evaluation it was found that this was over complicating the prototype therefore I decided to change this to a system where the person using the application chooses the time they wish to have the food delivered to them. The application will use GPS in the background to locate where you are and bring up a list of takeaways close to you. The revolving ice cream cone shows that the application is searching for a list of takeaways. Then the persona will select and highlight which takeaway they wish Then she will click on SELECT to move to the next screen.

RESTAURANT Mr. Chong's Chinese takeaway, High Street Falkirk 01324 123456 ORDER FOOD QUIT ORDER This screen shows details of the restaurant you are ordering from and gives the option to click on ORDER FOOD which will take you to a screen showing the menu from the restaurant. CHANGED MIND which is to allow you to cancel the order and return to the main screen SAVE TO CONTACTS was in the initial prototype to allow you save the Chinese takeaway restaurant to your contacts to ease future use. However after the evaluation of the prototype I decided it would be beneficial to take this out of the application as it wasn’t a necessary feature and it would simplify the application and make it easier to use and more attractive
