A Very Necessary Point Pleasing ourselves (vv. 1-3) Though it may be denied, this often plays a major factor in accepting others (3 Jn. 9-10) We should give consideration to others (Phil. 2:1-4) The example of Jesus (v. 3, cf. Lk. 22:42) Any reception must be in regard to being of the same mind and with one accord (vv. 5-6)

Brief Look At Romans 14 What it says What it doesn’t say vv. 1-6 Don’t judge others’ opinions by your opinions Don’t judge at all

Brief Look At Romans 14 What it says What it doesn’t say vv. 10-12 God will judge God will accept all unconditionally

Brief Look At Romans 14 What it says What it doesn’t say vv. 14 Pursue the things that make for peace Ignore sin and error in order to maintain fellow-ship and unity

What Do We Do With… Withdrawing from the disorderly (2 Thess. 3:6, 14-15) Testing the spirits (1 Jn. 4:1-3) Marking and avoiding false teachers (Rom. 16:17) Exposing works of darkness (Eph. 5:11) Have no social interaction (1 Cor. 5:9-10, 13) Offering comfort to a false teacher (2 Jn. 10-11)
