Rising Action: Something that creates suspense, usually an obstacle that makes the conflict more complicated. . Falling Action: all of the action which follows the Climax. Conflict: Every story needs a conflict or a problem that needs to be resolved Exposition: The way things are before the action starts (who what where when). . Resolution: The conclusion of the story, the tying together of all of the threads.
