Part A: Linking as a .ppt File
How to Post PowerPoints Save the desired PowerPoint to the desktop of the computer. Place the cursor over the green start button. Click on the Mozilla icon on the desk top. A window like the following should open.

How to Post PowerPoints 5. When the Open File window appears, click Desktop toward the left of the box. Then select the webpage you want to add the PowerPoint to and Click Open.
How to Post PowerPoints 6. When the web page opens, Select Edit file under the File menu at the top left of the page.
How to Post PowerPoints 7. This will open the page in a composer window which allows you to make changes to the page. Place the cursor where you would like to insert the PowerPoint Presentation. Then select Link under the Insert Menu at the top center of the window.
How to Post PowerPoints 8. This will display the Link Properties window. Enter text that describes the Link (and which the reader will click to select the link) in the first blank. Then click on choose file button.
How to Post PowerPoints This will display the Open HTML File Window. Click Desktop on the left of the window and select All Files in the drop down menu next to Files of type. This will display all the files on the desktop. Find the PowerPoint you saved earlier, select it, and click Open.
How to Post PowerPoints 10. Place the cursor over the Start button, then All Programs, then FileZilla, then FileZilla 2.2.6. Left Click.

How to Post PowerPoints 13. This will open the list of folders on the remote site on the right side of the screen and the local folders on the left side of the screen. Click on the Desktop folder on the left under local site and click on html on the right under remote site.

How to Post PowerPoints 15. Click and drag both the webpage you added your PowerPoint to and the powerpoint itself from the left (local site) to the right (remote site.) (If a dialogue window pops up and asks you if you want to replace the file because it already exists, click OK)
How to Post PowerPoint 16. Next you will need to set the permissions on all the files in your html folder on the remote site to be sure all the files and images can be viewed. Click on the top file in the html folder then hold down the shift key while using the down arrow to highlight all of the files in the html folder. Right click and scroll down to File attributes. Left click.
How to Post PowerPoints 17. This will display the Change File Attributes window. Make sure all three read and execute boxes are checked and only check the top write box. Click OK.

Then navigate to where the PowerPoint was placed on the web site and click the link to make sure it works. It is a good idea to perform this check on several computers to make sure it will work on all computers.
Part B: Linking as HTML Files
How to Post PowerPoints 1. In PowerPoint, open the presentation you wish to post to your web page.
