Harvard Business School Online program provides students from all backgrounds with a chance to gain the fundamentals of business thinking. Like Huron University College, Harvard is driven by interactive peer-to-peer engagement and committed to student success. Harvard’s Business School (HBS) designed a virtual learning environment where students from around the world can collaborate through multiple facets.   Huron, alongside Harvard Business School Online, provides students with a chance to gain the fundamentals of business thinking.

What does Harvard Business School Online entail? Play video. Once approved by the Coordinator of Careers and Internships, Huron students are enrolled into a Harvard CORe cohort where they will engage with their classmates in their virtual classrooms, just like being in a small class here on campus. Start dates begin every month with the exception of August and December. What does Harvard Business School Online entail?

Courses in Harvard Business School Online Program Business Analytics introduces quantitative methods used to analyze data and make better management decisions. Students will hone an understanding of key concepts, managerial judgment, and be confident applying course concepts to real business problems.   Economics for Managers dives into fundamental economic principles like supply and demand, cost, markets, competition, and differentiation. Students will gain the knowledge and skills needed to craft successful business strategy. Financial Accounting will teaches the fundamentals of financial accounting. Starting with the basics of recording transactions as journal entries and posting them to T accounts, students will learn how to prepare a balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. COURSE 1 COURSE 2 CORe was developed by HBS faculty members to instill a deep understanding of essential business concepts and problem-solving skills. Mastering the three CORe courses—Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting—will give you fluency in the language of business. Achieving the certificate. Participation 2. Completion of weekly quizzes 3. Final in-class exam(s) Final tests need to be scheduled at the student’s nearest Pearson Vue testing centre. Weekly, Harvard CORe students are assigned new material to learn and are expected to participate in online conversation and then complete a quiz. Evaluation is based on participation, quizzes, and a final in-class test. Final tests need to be scheduled at the student’s nearest Pearson Vue testing centre. As a credential program, CORe consists of three courses, features a final exam, and is graded based on quiz and final exam performance, quality and timeliness of work, and contributions to the learning community.  The three-hour, multiple choice final exam is a closed book, computer-based assessment that has been created by HBS faculty and is administered at one of 4,800 Pearson VUE test centers worldwide. Learn more about how the final exam is administered and where you can sit for the final exam on our Frequently Asked Questions page. A passing exam score on all three courses is required in order to earn the CORe credential.  Achieving the certificate.
