Part 1 Why Pray?

As very busy individuals with lots of responsibilities and interests, with lots of demands that grab more of our time than exists, why should we take time to pray?

Why do I Pray? I want a Passion for Jesus

Psalm 51:1 Have mercy on me, O God,     according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion     blot out my transgressions.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,     and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

2. My Focus

Why do I Pray? In need focus!

Target the Enemy…. Not the civilians.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Been Redeemed by HIS Blood Been Set free from sin Been Set free from Satan Been Set free from the Kingdom of Darkness Been Chosen before the Foundation of the World Are being conformed to the Image of His Son Been forgiven of all you trespasses Been Washed in HIS Blood Been Given a sound Mind Been Given the Holy Spirit

Have Access to the Throne of God Have a Home in Heaven waiting for you Have All things in Christ Have a Living Hope Have an Anchor for your soul Have a Hope sure and steadfast Have Power to Witness Have the Mind of Christ Have Peace with God Have Faith Like the Grain of a Mustard Seed Do all things Find Mercy Come Boldly to HIS Throne Quench the fiery dart of the Enemy Defeat and Overcome the Enemy
