Winching Course Sunday27th August 2017 Venue: The Wightman residence at 183 -199 Mona Drive Jimboomba. The closest crossroad is Roberta Court on Mona Drive. Look out for the orange marker cones which will indicate the correct driveway. Maximum speed on driveway 10kph please. As you approach the house drive through to the back yard BETWEEN the house and the shed and park where the other 4wds are. Registration: from 8.30am for a 9.00am start. Safety information: Due to the nature of this activity - Long pants, closed in shoes, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and water. You don’t have to have a winch fitted to your vehicle to attend. Toilets: Toilets will not be available onsite. Bring a shovel and be self-sufficient! Food: BYO morning tea, lunch, water and a chair.

How winches work, how to maintain them, winching accessories etc. After lunch to 4.00pm approx After lunch we get into the practical demonstration - snapping winch ropes, the effects of dampeners etc., & winching methods. Then, whilst club members test out their winches, Peter will review everyone's gear and answer any questions they may have.
