Eleanor M. Savko 2/21/2019 The Sepoy Rebellion happened in India when the British tried to make Indian soldiers to bite off the tips of their cartridges which were greased with animal fat. This was against their religion so they rebelled. The sepoys were also upset when they were required to travel overseas which also against the religion of some. High-caste Hindus could not travel overseas it was seen as an offense agianst their religion.
